The History of Post Production in Soho

A Written History of the People Who Cut Pictures.

Media!

It occurred to me that I should probably have a media page on this site as I am starting to stumble across some good videos, I am hoping some pictures will soon emerge from peoples past that I can put up too.

So anyway, have a look at the media page for some initial Youtube finds, and feel free to get in contact if you have anything you would like to add.

Second Interviews

Well, after a couple of days and a few train journeys, I have completed the second round of interviews, and have succesfully managed to dodge the rain.

The two gentlemen covered this time, were Hugh Waters and Phil Tweedy, who both graciously, gave up their time to speak to me about their roles, past and present.

The tone of the book (whether it is a book is yet to be seen) is starting to come together now and it’s starting to feel like it is taking on its own voice, so here is to the next interviews.

First interview second interviews

Well, what a jolly day I had this week cycling round London interviewing people to talk about Post Production in Soho. Besides making me desperately want to head back in to the thick of it again, it proved a fun and enlightening experience.

My thanks go to Phil Crawley, James Hunter and Owen Tyler for their time and suggestion of next interviewees.

Here’s to the next interviews.

Interviews

The first interviews are now booked in. They are happening at the end of May, so finally the ball is rolling. If you think you have something to add to the project, please get in touch.

Here we go….

Well I have finally started the ball rolling on this project. I have made contact with the first prospective interviewees and so far the response has been good. I imagine things will be rather quiet until the spectre of the Olympics and the mad summer rush is out the way, but then things will pick up quickly come later 2012 early 2013.
